Food was ok...nothing to write home about. The menu was limited and a bit iffy (eggs only one way...( I think)... slow cooked( and not cheap!)? Opens only Thursday onwards. Parking was hard.. It's really popular! The seating was so uncomfortable...main reason for not going there. It has to be amazing, convenient or comfy for the mum brigade to go to a particular cafe... This was none of those, unfortunately... Since we desperately need cafes and such in Resa.So disappointed. Coffee was good though.
Very simple food that you can easily make at home. And it's better to make it at home because they take ages to bring you a menu, then take 45mins to bring one of your dishes, then completely forget the other dish. The other dish was a cheese jaffle - ridiculous.The layout and tables/chairs is uncomfortable, service is terrible and no EFTPOS. Oh my, these guys are not going to last long. Avoid.
Popped in to the latest café to open in Reservoir, the Window Cnr Café to see what it was like. Got a friendly reception from the staff. Coffee is good (and hot) and the old fashioned jaffels a treat. Menu is a little restricted (as are the opening days of Thurs through Sunday) but assume this will improve as they find their feet.Give it a try.
Had breakfast here with my wife and the poached eggs were appallingly under cooked. The brioche bun was burned and our Orange Juice was just pulp.I look forward to eating out for breakfast once a week though I was really let down by this experience. It's not hard to poach an egg guys.

When I first went to this place I was very disappointedHorrible coffee and nothing else interesting, with too many better options around the area.
New Cafe Fantastic Sunday Breakfast everything was delicious loved the food eggs cooked perfectly and banana bread yummy will be returning again.
very cute little local spot, best coffee in reservoir... Only problem is I have to get my morning coffee somewhere else monday to weds....

Good on the owners for taking a pun and opening this..... eggs on toast and coffee....simple but good.... good job
Great coffee and food. Staff is excellent and it's never overcrowded. Prices are fair and reasonable.
