The Windsor Castle

Disappointed in the quality of the food. Onion rings tasted like they where brought from Iceland. The ketchup and Mayo is the cheapest of the cheapest brands. The calamari was absolutely disappointing… it tasted like Iceland food again. I got a steak and the peppercorn sauce tasted so salty it’s uneatable. Steak was just meat, didn’t have any flavour. The mood was rubbish. I came at 3:00pm and there’s nothing in the background no background music even though there’s tellies etc. Can hear everyone’s conversation next to you, got kids screaming and throwing food not a nice atmosphere to eat in. The couch we was sitting on was filthy. There is a cobweb right next to my table. Asked for a drinks...

Tony and his team, led by Katherine, are truly delightful and genuinely care about their customers. I made my third visit today, once again bringing my Labrador with me. We had another fantastic lunch at the pub. Tony reminds me of a classic, old-fashioned pub owner who pays attention to every detail. He sets high standards and won't tolerate any nonsense or rude behavior. The pub is immaculately kept, the food is delicious, the welcome is warm, and the service is top-notch. It's one of my favorite spots to dine, and my youngest son agrees. Thank you for a great experience.

The friendly female server made up for the unfriendly bald man, whose bad attitude was unwelcoming and lacking. It was clear he didn't want us there because we didn't have a reservation, which seemed to upset his strict business practices and lack of flexibility, despite there being plenty of empty tables available. This level of service was not what you would expect in the hospitality industry. Despite this, we had a good lunch experience.

We stopped in for Sunday lunch and both opted for the beef, simply wow, it is the best Sunday lunch we have ever eaten. Beef, lots of it, Yorkshire pud, roast parsnips and carrots, roast potatoes, broccoli and stuffing with a lovely rich red wine gravy, and it was HOT to boot!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a great time at this restaurant for Sunday dinner. The roast dinner was incredibly generous in size and was cooked excellently. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy on a cold evening.

We visited the pub on a week end stay at Legoland hotel . Great location to Windsor and the long walk to Windsor Castle. Food was lovely , staff very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Sunday lunch! Best in town. Great value for money, delicious food and perfectly cooked veg, potatoes and meat! Service great and Tony the landlord always looks after you!

Good beer, but the pub has a feeling of being a little tired. It was really quiet when we visited, despite the area teeming with visitors.

Great place to finish your walk down the Long Walk and around Windsor. A warm public house welcome awaits.
