The Wine Room - Reservar una mesa

I was here with friends to enjoy wine. We had a very rude waiter. South Asian gentlemen in his 30s or 40s. I asked for a recommendation on wine and the guy went on to make fun of me for no knowing anything about wine. He did this in an extremely arrogant and rude way. He he left our table, my friends asked me why I even put up with that type of behavior. I’m trying to be nice to people but this server obviously didn’t see things that way. I hope the restaurant owner or manager can pay some attention to this

We stumbled across the Wine Room completely by accident recently, and we were immediately drawn in by this charming little building with its unique doorway! The inside feels cozy and welcoming, the broad selection of high quality wines by the glass was a pleasant surprise given the reasonable prices. I highly recommend this wine bar for those who are looking for that comfortable old-school Parisian wine bar feeling. This is wine like it's supposed to be: a beautiful everyday and spontaneous pleasure :

So bad, the waiters were barely coming to our table. We got the wrong wine order than the wrong charge for the wine (the most expansive of course). We didn’t say anything but decided not to tip and the waiter found a way to come and ask why we didn’t tip !!! When we explained he asked us if he can clear our table and slammed the plates in a mosey way……… NEVER again.

I’ve been coming here every time i want to have a great time. You can drink any wine they have in their selection cause i’ve been always happy with anything i chose in their menu. I really like Eddie and Olga for how affectionate and sweet they are when i come with my friends. I always feel welcomed here. I bring all of my friends to show how great this place is.

Downtown Palo Alto really makes the commute worth it for the wine room. Amazing management and great workers. A very cozy atmosphere inside the place but the outside also has heaters to keep you warm. I would recommend to everyone.
