Dearest Lads and Lassies, we visited you on a cold night in June and the joint was jumping when we arrived. Wonderful bar staff did the right thing and let us know that the kitchen was under the pump and that we could enjoy some delicious drinks, inhale the atmosphere and our meals would be served in approximately an hour if we stayed. Thats what we did and we have marked the calendar as an event to remember for ALL the right reasons. This is the 4th time we have been to the Winston, and we love this place!!! We can’t stop coming back, it is our go to spot for a drink and a bite to eat. Everything here is great; the tunes, the drinks, the Mac and cheese sticks EVERYTHING!! Plus our baby boy is named Winston, so it’s an extra special place for us.
Great laid back pub with a good vibe. Cool decor and a great selection of 'off the grid ' beers on tap. Awesome place to catch up with friends over a drink or for travellers looking for something cozy

Had a lovely time in Hobart with Mark Ackerly, Dana, Mov, Anna and Martin at the Winston. Great beer and fantastic food, would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Hobart.
The best food ever. Never had better burgers anywhere. Their house beer is also top shelf. Staff were very friendly. Can't recommend highly enough. Must do in Hobart
That blue cheese, deep-fried bacon and chili cheeseburger will probably take ten years off my life and an inch off my colon, but was so worth it.
Fantastic food, great beer selection, great band. The place has a real good vibe and was buzzing on a Friday night.
