The Woodbridge Inn

We arrived early for our reserved table and were promptly seated and able to place our orders right away. Our food came out quickly, and we both had the lamb shoulder served with dauphinoise potatoes, which tasted absolutely fantastic! The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecakes were equally delicious! Our server, Jake, was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. We went with another couple who also stayed at the Old Rectory, so we didn’t have to wait for a table. We will definitely visit again!

In my experience at various restaurants for family anniversaries and birthdays, I've consistently found the staff to be attentive and friendly. I've never encountered any issues with the quality of the food. It's important to remember that this is not a fast food place, but rather a restaurant where meals are thoughtfully prepared from scratch by qualified chefs.

So glad we found this place, fantastic menu set in a wonderful location with fabulous views over the River Severn. Lovely friendly staff with great service, the food we’ve had has been exquisite! Lovely and cosy inside with a log fire and lots of tables to eat outside in the summer! Dog friendly as well for an added bonus, we will definitely be back!

Pan fried venison with Dauphinoise potatoes, roast parsnip blackberry jus – the venison haunch was a beautiful piece of meat which in a classy juniper rich blackberry jus. The veg was great, especially the parsnips and with a creamy, garlicky Dauphinoise was a joyous thing.

Simply Lovely. Can recommend the sour dough bread with portobello mushrooms and Shropshire blue cheese very tasty!
