The Woodhouse Arms

My wife and I had not booked, but were quickly found a nice table by the fire, and were brought our drinks virtually immediately. The menu is not huge but sufficiently varied to accommodate most culinary foibles. They were very busy as there was a 2 for 1 lunchtime offer on mains, so we did have a slightly longer wait to be served than expected. However, the quality of both fried sea bass on squash risotto, gammon steak with chip, egg and peas was excellent and the dishes were well presented. Service throughout was prompt and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Booked for Sunday lunch while visiting son in Grantham. Was undoubtedly the best Sunday lunch we have had. Service was excellent, all the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Our starters and desserts were wonderfully presented and tasted as good as they looked. Generous portions of pink beef accompanied by lovely Yorkshires and all the trimmings, The pub was warm and welcoming as were all the staff, Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Yet another great meal! Staff super friendly, attentive and the food was amazing. No long waits, cooked perfectly (both had steak), very enjoyable. Also had starter and pudding, which were tasty and cooked also perfectly. Lovely to have a meal without feeling ripped off or let down, it’s also rare to have consistently high standards. This is one of many visits so I wanted to show my appreciation and hope it carries on.

We visited the wood house arms for the first time for a date this evening, we have driven past it loads since we are local to the area and always say how much we want to go in as it looks so lovely from the outside. The food was absolutely delicious and presents so well. The staff were amazing and so friendly and the place itself is such a lovely environment for a lovely meal out Reserva una mesa ahora

Food and service is always amazing but drink prices are outrageous now.. £11.35 for a glass of white wine is expensive in London!! Would visit more often if it wasn’t for the high drink prices!

Great for overnight accommodation incl.breakfast, lunch dinner. Staff very efficient, friendly, just couldnt do enough for us. Highly recommend a stay if you find yourself in this location

Really high end pub food at a reasonable price. So tasty, staff attentive and friendly. Can't go wrong with this place. Have visited a couple of times and will return.

Nice pub which serves consistently good food prepared by actual chefs, rather than the ubiquitous ready meals served by most pubs. Definitely reccomend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just wow ! Oyster mushroom starter was inspired.. 12/10, beef exceptional, sea bass sublime Service top notch … nothing not to like ! Fantastic
