The Woodman - Reserva de mesa

Arrived at 12.30 and was instructed where the seating area was not shown) 10 minutes later I got asked for my Order, I ordered drinks and food at the same time. 30 minutes later the table next to me gets informed that there has been a mix up in the kitchen and their drinks and food will be over in a few minutes, they had only been sitting there for 10 minutes or so! I then see all the buggies arriving I prefer a quiet lunch so go early) and wait another 5 minutes or so and finally leave and go elsewhere. I cannot believe that a customer can sit at a table for 4o minutes with no drink or food and no one questions it! To be fair I do not blame the staff, if no drinks or food are sent out then...

My husband and I had a great time at the Woodman Pub last night. We ordered the Haddock and chips and the Burger with chips, both of which were delicious. The chips were particularly tasty. The fish was fresh and flavorful, although the burger was a little dry. The atmosphere was nice and the pub was beautifully decorated, especially the ceiling adorned with floral material. One area for improvement could be better communication in regards to table reservations, as our reserved table was given to another party who had booked earlier. I arrived at The Woodman yesterday afternoon (10th September) for a pint, only to be told that I couldn 't have a drink unless I had booked a table and there were none available. I explained I just wanted one pint and was happy to stand inside or in the garden only to be given the same response. One of their advertising slogans reads We are a pub (rather than a restaurant) I 'll leave it up to the readers to decide for themselves if that is the kind of pretentious establishment they want to frequent.

This has to be my favourite pub in Highgate. Lovely big space inside and outside in the Summer. A roaring fire inside in the Autmn/Winter. Food is great . DJs are great at the weekend. Especially Roi. It’s the staff who really make this pub. Sociable and unbelievably friendly. Hope always greets you with a sunny smile and positive attitude. What a great girl to be around. The staff at the Woodman were uniformly helpful, and they coped with a large order very efficiently. But the food was a good average for a pub no complaints, but not exceptional, and the prices were central London plus, with beer particularly expensive where a service charge was added to it.

It was so nice to have lunch here yesterday without the pub being a make shift crèche for once. The constant presence of children and yummy mummies has stopped me going. The chicken cob salad was so delicious. I think I read about a change of chef. A very nice lunch.

The meal was fantastic, with the highlight being the delectable chicken pot pie. The fries were also delicious, highlighting the pub's high-quality cooking. The service was attentive, making for an overall wonderful dining experience.

I'm wondering whether this is a pub, restaurant or crèche? Hard to tell during the day, with mums and tots taking over half the pub. Nice location, friendly staff but quite expensive. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent food and service. I was on my way to an event and thought I’d pop in for some grub, the Shepherd’s Pie was lovely and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We had a fantastic night indulging in tasty pies and enjoying wine (and Guinness!) in front of a warm fire at our beloved pub in London.
