I recently went to this restaurant with my partner and friends, along with my 5-month-old puppy, after they finished work. There was no indication outside the pub that dogs were not allowed, but just to be cautious, I picked up my dog to walk through the pub to the outside area. As I was walking through, a staff member, who was a larger lady wearing a frilly top and talking to one of the chefs, rudely shouted at me across the pub that I couldn't have my dog in there. Instead of politely informing me that dogs were not allowed inside, she shouted at me. 29/10/22. Usually a nice place to visit. We have lunch here every Saturday. My autistic daughter loves coming here for her nuggets kids meal. We had the Tennessee burgers which were lovely as the food usually is. Problem being ordering the food. Ordered my daughter kids nuggets peas and chips. To be told no nuggets. My daughter wasn't happy as change is a big no for her. I asked if i could have some chicken breast bites off the main menu instead with the chips and peas quickly to ease my daughters anxiety but was told abruptly.. No we can't do that. WOULDHAVE...WOULDNOT 4 adults catching up for a few drinks and something to eat should not be that unpleasant. From start to finish the staff front of house were very rude, speaking down to people who pay there wages. Hospitality is a no no in this place, my advice to the staff who we had the not so good pleasure of being served by would be for them to leave and give there jobs to someone who knows how Hospitality works..... Kitchen staff well done food was lovely.
The food was fantastic, and the staff, despite being very busy, were delightful. Grace and the kitchen staff were constantly working hard to provide such exceptional service and delicious food. Wetherspoons should be commended for having such a great team.

Traditional breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Fried egg was snotty, toast was like cardboard, and everything was cold. Waited over 20 minutes after ordering, and it was not lover-busy. Very poor, sloppy management in my view.
I had the steak and fries with a pint of San Miguel. The steak was tough and not very good. I understand it's a budget option, but still. It seems like you have to upgrade to a sirloin to get a better steak!
Lovely Wetherspoons in the heart of the town. Excellent selection of well kept real ales served by great friendly efficient staff. Real pleasure to spend time here.
Very friendly service and staff nice cold drinks good food carpark at rear with morrisons. So can do a shop and pop in for a bite

We come here quite regularly and the food is always lovely and staff are always friendly. Good drink selection. Clean and tidy.
Pizza was horrendous dried out skimped on over cooked rot it looked like a 3 year old had made it won’t bother the next time
