Could be a really good pub.. it has opened a bit too early, the decorating is not finished, the patio area is a mess with weeds growing out between the slabs. Why they don't serve Thatchers gold which everyone drinks is beyond me. Staff very abrupt not at all friendly.. shan't be going back in a hurry.. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Now reopened! Lovely new interior, making the most of the old building. Well kept real ales and local cider. Please note: NO hot food yet. Very relaxed atmosphere. Atmosphere: 5

Called in today for first time in years really enjoyed it back to being more of a traditional pub good service atmosphere will definitely be back. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent to have this pub open again! Beautifully renovated and restored, great beers and an asset to the village.
