staying a total of 3 nights, it happened to find foot from a nearby hotel I was looking for a pub. Not only is it a great pub, but when they said that they had room upstairs, I knew that this is the place to stay! haha. amazing beer and selection of real Cask-Marque-Ales, and great eating of high quality. the only criticism I have is that the condiments will never be brought out with their food and they must sit and wait a minute or two while the staff go and they have a little pot of everything they have asked. (mushrooms also, are touch and go, sometimes good, sometimes dry). would definitely be back to stay, and the breakfast in the morning is great! good the price and the stay worth.
two times this month at the yacht, once in the night before the crossing to scilly and then when we went back the Saturday night. last stay was not planned, but after a longer burning crash at the arrival back to penzance we urgently needed to stay somewhere and dry out. once again the yacht was there for us. we had the same large cozy room (with a view) and as after the previous stay, the food was delicious, shower/bath was in front of location and the hospitality and welcome were error-free. we're coming back. thanks! p.s the free wine with the food is ideal!
many thanks to brand and the whole staff to make our family wedding so a great experience. nothing was too much annoyed, an excellent buffet with lots of food available. excellent evening buffet also. the rooms are beautiful with some with a magnificent sea view over mounts bay, comfortable room, beautiful and clean and bright. the cornish breakie is a real tasty bite and also freshly cooked from ordering. we would highly recommend the yacht inn.
