This is a little gem of a restaurant. I arrived here with my girlfriend on a last minute idea with no reservation on Valentine's night. The super friendly staff got us a table within a few minutes after some shuffling of tables. We were quickly servers an amazing ore starter of a beetroot soup which was to die for. I decided to have the tapas plate. Which in honesty was way to big and really the only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5. This is a first-class restaurant with very modest prices. We went as a family to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the food was superb: Steak Tartar beautifully prepared and presented, Oven Baked Tomato Soup as good as you'll find in Italy, delicious beef filets, an extremely kind waiter (presumably the owner), and a small but very good wine list. I don't know of any restaurant in the city of Berlin that can match Theo's quality and price, and it's worth a drive from the city to dine here. It's not pretentious, and the quality is outstanding. A real winner.

Its not the only steak selling spot in Neuruppin. You will not be disappointed with food. Wine and beer selections ok. Service leaves a lot of room for improvement, friendly but too enthusiastic to clear the plates, even though members of the table are still eating. Forget the coffee! Nothing to write home about!

We had a great meal and the service was just perfect. The place can only be recommended to visitors wanting a good night out in Neuruppin.
