Third Street Aleworks

I had a very frustrating experience with this restaurant. Our group made a reservation for dinner for 18 people weeks in advance. However, when we arrived at 6:30 PM, we were unexpectedly informed that the kitchen would be closing at 6:45 PM. By the time we were seated and ready to place our orders, we were told that they would not be taking any further orders. If the restaurant had no intention of serving us a full meal, they could have simply declined our reservation or at least informed us upon arrival. Instead, we were given appetizers and then abruptly told we couldn't order our main courses. It was quite ridiculous.

This restaurant has a ridiculous approach to business. Our group made a reservation for dinner for 18 people weeks in advance. If the restaurant had no real intention of serving us food, they could have simply declined our reservation or at least informed us upon our arrival, rather than serving us appetizers and then abruptly stating that we couldn’t order our main courses.

My boyfriend and I stopped by to have a couple beers and some food. Erik the bartender handed us our beers and placed our order. While we waited, we didn?t realize 40 minutes had gone by and we wondered where our food was. Apparently the system lost our order! Erik was right on it and sent it in. Then it came out in 10 minutes! Also he apologized and gave us a discount for waiting so long. Thank you Erik! The food was delicious! The beers were great! Great service!

Finally was able to go back to third street ale works now that they have an open kitchen again. I?ll tell you right now that the food is hands down some of the best in Sonoma county. This creole pop up Took over the kitchen named bayou on the bay and my mind was blown! We went for 2.50 Tuesday and had an amazing dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids with 4 beers for under $50 Talk about a deal, amazing food and the beer is pretty good as well.

Interestingly, other diners who arrived after 6:45 PM were still served food. The servers instructed us to line up individually to place our orders. When we suggested that we could take our own orders, we were told that the chef had decided to close the kitchen.

The beer, food, and bar service were absolutely top-notch, scoring a perfect 10. However, I was really disappointed to see how much the place has changed. It used to be a bustling, full-service restaurant with fantastic food, always packed with people eager to get in. Now, it feels like a large, empty warehouse where the bartender takes care of everything except cooking. It's such a letdown!

Beer, food and bar service a perfect 10 but I was so disappointed to see that things have changed so much. It used to be a full-serve restaurant with great food and people were always shoulder to shoulder, waiting to get in. Now it's like a big, empty warehouse where the bartender does everything but cook. Sad!

This is my favorite beer pub in town. Very reasonable and great service! I know RR has great beer also but 3rd street has the better deal!

Wow! One of the best burgers I've ever had! Fries were delicious! Beer was ok.
