Three Doors Down

I popped in there for breakfast this morning totally by chance. It was the first place I saw and it had an interesting decor. On entry, I was greeted very warmly by both the waiter and the barista. I love it when you meet super-nice (very young!) men that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. In Manly (where I live) I often feel a bit invisible, not here though. The coffee was a perfect blend of delicious, hot, strong and pretty! My sourdough toast with vegemite and avocado was strangely tasty for something so simple. What an unexpected treat!

I eat here quite a bit as I love the salads and the shakshuka makes a delicious meal for breakfast or lunch. Coffee is also always good and my friend said her chai was the best she's ever had from a cafe. Owner and his crew are professional, friendly and work hard to make everything just right. A great asset to the Mona Vale food scene.

I've been having lunch and coffee at Three Doors Down for over a year now and it's my go-to cafe for a delicious and healthy lunch and reliably good coffee. The menu has a slightly middle eastern feel and in my opinion is reasonably priced for the quality and presentation of the food.

I have not yet tried the food. But it always looks and smells gorgeous. The soups and salted caramel dark chocolate cheese cake look heavenly. However, the coffee is really nice. It use to be my go-to in Mona Vale for coffee; until I discovered SoulB further down the alley.
