beautiful local pub. we stopped on the way to visit hyburn wyke waterfall. the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was very friendly. food selection is quite good with many daily specialties. we ordered rib eye steak, sirloin steak, scampi and homemade steake pier. everything was pretty fast server. of all steak pie was most likely because the flesh was hard and chewing. also were soggy and not very nice. overall not bad.

we live in low moor huts on the road in scalby and wanted to eat somewhere with the children, unfortunately our youngest one was a little bit peachy, so we didn't want to sit inside and harass other customers. they are also outside the tables and the weather was reasonable. the food was served without much waiting and was on place, the steak was perfect and fantastic chips. recommend the honeycomb cake for dessert.

A superb and welcoming pub with amazing food at a really good price. I really enjoyed the selection of beer (Landlord, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde, Tetley Cask) and the staff are so friendly, efficient and attentive. A brilliant pub. Worth a visit if you are in Scarborough, better than any pub in the actual town!

I had lunch here this evening after I drove 18 months through the village. beautiful eating, fresh veg, house made yorkshire pudding and beautiful gravy. service super and a beautiful prise bitter also! a

was absolutely hungry and decided to stop here for dinner. the personal was friendly, ordered with ease and the part was belt bus and very good value for money. Thank you.
