Walked down to Station Street with a friend for morning tea - lots of options but as we walked past the Three Locals the waitress was writing on the blackboard "Open Fire Inside" - that got us in there as it was very fresh out. So inside they have two gas open fires burning which was very nice for effect, they do not give out loads of heat but they also had the split system going to get things pumping. What can I say I have been here twice once for breakfast and then dinner as I was hoping the second experience would be better than the first. Well I was wrong!!!!This little suburban "cafe" is trying so hard to produce hat rated food with a chef that has clearly learnt to cook at la porchetta. It is all very well and good to use French terminology on a menu but if your stuff cannot reproduce it or explain it it's simply a disaster. The staff here is lazy the food is Rubbish and the atmosphere a disaster! Such a shame really but perhaps if in trained chefs stopped trying to be the next Anthony Bourdain then perhaps thus cafe may have had a chance.

Interesting cafe for a dinning experience, menu was good with plenty to choose from with a all day breakfast menu and lunch menu on offer. Service was quick, water placed on table and orders taken within minutes. Coffee was well made and very good, strong and hot. The meals were good size, tasty and the servings were generous. Very good value for money. The only thing is that it is a very noisy cafe could be the design or the arrangement of the tables, very hard to hold a conversation with the high level of noise. This could be because it is very family friendly with a very high patronage of young families.

I found this place very cozy and friendly. Coffee was great and food was so yummy! I had the Wagu Brioche Burger w chips, aioli and added cheese. The bun was soft and nice, the tomato relish was my favorite part of the dish!. I really liked that they asked me how do I want the meat to be cooked because I love my meat to be cooked medium to well-done. Overall, the service was great and the food came right on time!. Dropped in on a cool afternoon so it was nice to see the fireplace (gas not wood fired). if it is cold outside, I recommend you find a table inside a bit further. We found the wind would blow in anytime someone came through the door, so can still be a bit chilly at times. Extensive coffee menu (including my current fave, magic) and plenty of options for snacks. We had a mocha cheesecake and a lemon slice. Cheesecake is pretty rich, so might be a good one to share.

Came here on my lunch break and was intrigued by the menu. Service was a bit on the slow side and it took around half an hour to get our meals even though the place didn't look too busy. When the food came out it looked spectacular - presentation was great! Unfortunately it lacked flavour and the smashed avo was just half an avocado cut and fanned out on the side and wasn't exactly ripe.

This place is really nice, very friendly and accommodating staff, staff knowledgable about the area, menu excellent, food excellent, lots of parking in the side street near the wholesale vegie place / mall across the road. Very clean and well laid out. The only thing i could fault was there is a step at the front door, but if your in a wheel chair, staff will assist.

Not very busy when we were here. Service slow. Meals were not good. Bread was burnt as too was the chicken. Coleslaw not dressed and seemed to comprise thick slices of cabbage. It was a pleasant surprise to find a yummy club sandwich at this lovely little joint. The staff are friendly, the setting's nice and most importantly - good coffee. My friend ordered the Wagyu burger looked great. Will definitely come back to try that one next time.

Love this place! We come here often. The food is awesome and the service is great. We have got to know the owners (three locals) and they are such beautiful people. Keep up the awesome food locals!
