Wish I 'd found this place sooner... Located in the quiet village of Sadberge, The Tuns is an ideal excuse to have a drive or even a wander out! Very welcoming staff, warm, clean and cosy atmosphere is a perfect combination for a nice cheeky beverage or 2 by the log burner. The food is delicious and cooked by people who clearly know what they 're doing. It 's refreshing to see a place that changes their 3 course, reasonably priced menu every month, which coincides with what is in season and what is available locally helping the local economy. Visited The Three Tuns at Sadberge: Wednesday 22nd November. On arriving there’s no car park as such so had to park on street not ideal to be truthful Once inside the pub, shown to our table, given menus and took drinks order. Ordered Warmed Crusted Brie and Korean Sticky Belly Pork for starters Pork Au Poirve with Braised Veg with Shoestring Potatoes, also Plain Parmo with Chips and Creamy Slaw for mains. Starters were very nicely presented the warm Brie was exceptional Korean Sticky Belly Pork looked visually stunning but disappointed in flavour. First time we’ve visited but will definitely go back! Warm, friendly service, beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. I had the Korean spiced mussels for starters, my wife had the soup. We were also given warm fresh crusty bread and butter. Soup was delicious, mussels were spicy but fantastic and the portion was huge. Had the pink sirloin steak for main and it consisted of 2 thick slabs of beef, a light, fluffy Yorkshire, lots of gravy and a selection of fresh vegetables, all piping hot. My wife had the chicken which was gorgeous too. £18 for 2 courses which is great value for the quality of food. Have been with husband and with friends. Food is good at reasonable price. Only fault is service. The staff are friendly but don’t rush. Each time we visit we are taken direct to table rather than offered a drink at bar. It then takes too long to b3 served with a drink between 10 15 mins last time, then the menus was brought all took a bit too long. Would have preferred to be given a drink to take to the table, then given menus. Staff do check that food is satisfactory, but once finished they are nowhere to be seen. On each occasion, we’d have had coffee if asked, but we weren’t. Wouldn’t take much to strengthen the service and it would make a difference

Fantastic dining experience. The food is beautifully presented and tastes divine. Service is attentive but not over the top. No hovering. I started with the twice baked soufflé and went onto the belly pork. My husband had the beef Bourgogne. Both were outstanding, very tender with suitable accompaniments. I've lived in France for over 10 years and the menu is reminiscent of the fusion restaurants over there. Unfortunately we didn't have room for pudding. Will definitely be back.
Went for a family meal. Hannah,Lily and Daisy were very friendly and helpful. There is wheelchair access and staff were available to support if needed. The food was really good, we didn't have to wait for long for it to arrive . Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks to the chef for a lovely meal.
What a night for a family members special birthday the location, the atmosphere, the food amazing, excellent service, Team Tuns gave us 100% vip treatment allowed us to decorate tables and party the night away Everyone has mentioned what a fab place, fab food, fab staff. Thanks for a night to remember
The market menu is excellent quality value for money. The chef obviously likes to experiment with flavours, so different to the average pub grub for similar cost. Friendly staff, always welcoming. We are regular visitors to the Tuns, wish it was our local!

Lovely food and attentive staff who are very polite. We had a sharing steak with all the trimmings, the flavours were outstanding. Well worth a visit.
