There?s a ton of beer options at this dark, cozy spot. Came here for lunch on a Monday around 1pm and were seated immediately. Note that the Yelp checkin for two stickers isn?t valid. Indoor dine-in only (no outdoor options available). Credit cards are accepted. There one gender neutral restroom in the restaurant side, and another in the bar side. Family friendly and they do have high chairs. Food-wise, they have shareable plates and the ingredients are local. The mushroom carbonara was a bit disappointing as the sauce was really watery, but the pretzel rolls were to die for. Our first visit to this restaurant left us feeling disappointed. It seemed as though the staff may have been having an off day as it wasn't very busy. We waited for someone to notice us before finally being seated at the bar where we ordered drinks and food. The bartenders were friendly and quickly served us our drinks, but we waited at least 30-40 minutes for our food with no updates from the staff. When our meals finally arrived, they looked appetizing. I ordered the buffalo fried chicken sandwich with fries, but unfortunately the fries were cold and stale while the chicken was barely warm and a small portion. We made a pit stop at Montpelier for lunch on our way back to NYC from Stowe. Among all the restaurants we passed by, this one stood out the most. The selection of craft beers was amazing. The bartender whipped up a fantastic kombucha cocktail with vodka that was incredibly refreshing, perfect for those wanting a strong drink. Both the server and bartender were friendly and welcoming. The food was also top-notch. The buttery pretzels were the best I've ever had, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, from the Vermont onion soup (a heartier version of French onion soup) to the chicken wings and burgers. Three pennies are on their kitchen! The menu is creative, diverse and much more vegan inviting. The service is attentive and friendly. The safe outdoor kitchen is very pleasant. Standouts at our visit: Crispy Chickpeas, White Gazpacho, the Charred Vegetable Salad Farmer's Salad (with black bean cake added), and the Taters Tots, whoa. Oh my goodness this place is amazing!! We came here twice on our short trip to the area. Had to come back a second time because it was so good. We loved the steak and cheddar sandwich, ordered it twice. The pretzel bites were incredible also. The beer selection was superb and the food out this world!! We wish we had time to come back a third time.

This spacious Gastro Pub offers a diverse range of craft beers. The menu features delicious dishes, such as the tasty buffalo chicken sandwich and the excellent cod cake sandwich. Located in downtown Montpelier, it is a fantastic dining option.
