To make matters worse, the employee yelled at me and told me not to come back, which was surprising since it was my first visit! I left feeling extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with the service. It's never okay to tell a customer not to return; you want to create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued.
Now I'm definitely going to write a review about my experience to warn others. Please understand that what you serve needs to match what customers are paying. Otherwise, I can see how a business could lose customers in the long run. I've had much better experiences at other Mexican restaurants, where I can get a loaded plate for around $10.50 to $12.00.

Doing overtime this morning Sunday. I work nights but just like I said ,came in to do over time on a Sunday morning. Of course I'm going to need my menudo early this morning, 8:00 in the morning. Very very watery no flavor on the menudo .Only a half of a half of a half of a lemon. Are you serious. You can't even give me half of a lemon .You gave me half of a half of a lemon, incredible. Probably that would have not matter if the menudo had flavor which it does not at all. I seen the senoras on the side of the streets selling tamales, next time I'm going to hit them up but thumbs down on Tia Lauras. At least for the menudo thumbs down. I'm very mad at myself for leaving a tip
Always a great place very very authentic wonderful food we usually get our tamales there for the holidays this year they were not available understandable but that will not stop me from going to eat in or take out we have a long relationship very friendly family
I don't know how much meat a large portion of broth must have, but it only came with that little piece. The rice is very delicious and is accompanied by 3 tortillas.

Had tacos de Asada and tacos de Birria . They were very delicious. The salsa hot but with flavor. Best of all it was very fresh.
Small place, extra charge for additional tortillas, chips, salsa plus they have different prices posted in the menu
I highly recommend the shepherd's cake and horchata water—they're absolutely delicious!
They claimed to be open until 4 PM on Sundays, but that's not true. Very disappointing.
