Tigers Family Restaurant sits on the first floor of a mixed use building (residential 2d floor), on North Broad Street, Lansdale. It is a cozy, homey place with both counter and tables, and small dining room all the way in back. Menu is pretty much All American, and the servers are friendly women who seemed to know everyone in the house, with the exception of this first timer. They knew everyone's name and engaged in running repartee with all the dudes at the six stool counter where I sat. Not many non pork items for breakfast. And the only one offered, is a hot sausage. Our first time was great! Our waitress was very attentive,and welcoming. Now the second visit....was when we found out the only non pork item was hot sausage (which we weren't informed) our waitress could have informed us it was hot, asked for onions in my home fries and that's what I received. A plate of onions with maybe three slices of potatoes. The waitress did go back and get a side of potatoes to add to the onion. First time there after hearing great reviews. We didn't have a great experience. It was a long wait to get in, which can actually be a good sign, so that wasn't necessarily a negative thing. Service was slow, coffee refill was very slow in coming, items were missing from our order, and we were incorrectly charged on the bill. The food was good, however, so we'll try it again. Everyone has an off day. Hopefully that was the case here. Parking: The parking lot looks small from the road, but there is plenty of parking in the rear. The only non pork breakfast meat offered is a beef hot sausage,that they don't tell you it's hot. Our home fries came out with more onions and peppers then home fries (good thing I like veggies). Was charged for large OJ and was given small. The plus our waitress gave us a side of potatoes to go with the veggies and she fixed our receipt. Service is amazing they get really personal they know there customers names and drinks it makes it more of a welcoming experience so far I've had there paninis and I haven't had a problem with it once so far very consistent in there food tastes I will keep going back it's a cute restaurant very simple but good food
All I have to say is this 5 star experience from start to finish. I can't say enough. As breakfast people, it was so refreshing to come into a restaurant that made everything from scratch. Our server was fast, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I always drove past this place and couldn't find out how good it was. when I was looking for a new diner in the opposite, I noticed the amount of great reviews. eating is great! Inside is decent, comfortable and modern. the personal is fantastic. I'm coming back in a definitiw!
First time there, but remember them when they were in the tiny place near Towamencin. Stopped in for breakfast between appointments and had the breakfast special.
