some of the most recent negative reviews for tihos do not agree with my experiences. I've been here a few times. the personal is multilingual (very rare in bad bentheim), friendly and helpful. the restaurant has no claim on haute cuisine, but eating is carefully prepared and tasty. it is also the only restaurant that has met me so far in bad bentheim that lists allergens in his menu (although this is required by law), and I noticed the efforts of the staff to create a special food for one of the other guests that was gluten-intolerant. the salat is fresh, and to be able to assemble the salat from the salatbar itself is a good deed, and the toilets were, although they were old, always clean w...
we knew about this place before we arrived and were determined to try it. mainly because of the Croatian and British connection. it was an ideal place for parents of picky children who really enjoyed eating and said that the ice was the best they had eaten for a long time (especially the ice after eight). my man and I had the common special plate that was delivered with a fantastic selection of meat and wonderful bratkartoffels. tiho and graham were great hosts and could have done more to feel welcome, and my man could remember his time in croatia with tiho. it can definitely recommend to anyone who is in the opposite, it lies directly opposite the lock entrance.
tonight after a short walk through the castle over this place. quickly set and eating was incredible. the possibility to assemble salat is a great idea and the salatdressing was really delicious. I know that the man who led it worked alone, so it was really impressed that his service was still on a very high standard. the fact that he spoke English was a bonus for us. we also have to apologize for our overthrown departure, but unfortunately we have received bad news and had to return to Britain quite unexpectedly. I would eat here at any time and would definitely recommend it to others. carving with mushroom sauce was incredible, keep on so:)
we just went to this restaurant without any previous knowledge. the outer menu gave us good mood. the kitchen was closed, but the owner-cook-Maitre d` gave us the opportunity to enjoy its fabulous eating. do not miss the gnochis with cheese and spinat. and the Croatian red wine is, although unpretentious, a very good companion to this delicious food. absolutely simple location, right in front of the castle, makes this little restaurant a must! cordial gratitude to the owner. I visited this small restaurant with a few friends and found it very pleasant and very pleasant. the fact that fluent English could be spoken was a big plus point for us. the personal could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. the menu was extensive, with a large selection. they can also serve on a large selection of fresh salad ingredients. the whole food was without mistake!A bonus is the fantastic view of the local castle!A very pleasant evening....danke
what a blessing that we have found this exquisite restaurant. a warm and friendly reception, fresh delicious brot and tzaiziki as an appetizer and an absolutely juicy bark stew (gulasch), homemade and simply the most delicious dish for a long time. accompanied by a glass of wonderful Croatian white wine. sky! must definitely be one. we were there a second time during our short visit to Germany. thanks to the Tiho team for these wonderful memories!
we had a nice dinner as a family, the service exactly right for the ambiente of the location, quiet and happy. the eating was a nice reminder of my time in croatia, both in taste and presentation. and my wife was overwhelmed by the chocolate fudge cake! finally a place where there was a digestif or a few sljivovic, a rareness of my experience!
