Today I ordered my favorite dish, the Megajuana tacos, at the Tijuana Flats in Boynton Beach. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my meal. The five chips that came with it were not enough, and my double blackened chicken was lacking in ingredients. The quesadilla was super skinny and had very little shredded chicken, when it was supposed to be blackened. I called the manager to express my disappointment and informed her that neither myself nor my business partner will be returning to this location. I do not want anyone else to have to go through the same disappointing experience that I did. I came home expecting a great meal, but instead, I received subpar food. I advise others not to din...
Stopped here to pick up lunch for the office. I'm a fan of T Flats in general and haven't had it in a while so I was excited! Staff was very friendly and my pick up order was wrapping up by the time I got there. Once my order was complete, I drove the 7 minutes back to work only to find out my burrito did not have queso on it like I ordered (and paid for). Unfortunately the food was not very warm either. Perhaps it's just better to consume immediately in restaurant instead of a quick take out? Either way, I will try again for dine in. But I will avoid take out just to rule out no product/ warmness of food.
I had an early lunch with my wife around 11:15 AM. We tried Tijuana Flats. It is a catchy name, the interior is nice and clean and the menu looked great. I ordered the Chipolte Chicken Burrito. What can go wrong with a burrito! The flour tortilla was cold and tasted like it came out of a package from the grocery store. The chicken was good but cold, the rice was cold, the taste was bland. The sauce on the side just came out of the fridge so it made the burrito even colder. The burrito lacked cheese and taste. I will never go back even for Taco Tuesday.
I really enjoyed the restaurant from the moment we entered and were welcomed by a friendly staff member who seated us at our table. We were informed about the Taco Tuesday special and decided to try it out. The meat in the tacos was of high quality, paired with fresh vegetables, cheese, and sour cream, making it a delicious meal. This is a great place for families with kids who enjoy tacos. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Ok, yes I know this isn't a Mexican restaurant. But seriously, folks, it's not my marketing. The cashier didn't know anything about the menu and food and numbly reeled off whatever was on her screen whether it made sense or not. No surprise, a simple burrito took 15 minutes. And no tomatillo or other sauce choices, when asked the same young lady just looked shocked and stammered nothing was available. The burrito tasted like cardboard. Oh, but the retried black beans weren't bad.
I am a fan of TF, but I had a terrible experience at this particular location. The staff seemed disorganized, and despite placing a simple order for Tacos, I had to wait 30 minutes for my takeout while others who arrived after me were served before me. To make matters worse, when my food finally arrived, it was cold. Not a great dining experience.
We had a great time here chatting away with the General Manager, Josh! He was super friendly telling us about the area. The food was excellent and everyone was super friendly. If we are back in town we will definitely head back here for lunch and hopefully Josh will be there so we can say hello!! Great place, go have lunch here!!
Great food and really good prices, delivery very timely. We usually have Moes and haven't been to Tijuana Flats for some time but today we ordered and we're not disappointed! Excellent service! I ordered three meals on the app and chose curbside pickup. I drove up at the time stated on the app and before I got there car into park, the employee was walking out with my order. The order was correct and the food was very good. My favorite is the Atom Bombs. They are da bomb!!
