This place is always so much fun The bartenders and wait staff are mostly female and really know how to handle the business very well which consists of mostly a male demographic. There is a DJ on the weekends and the owners are always present on the floor. The drinks (Micheladas and Margaritas) are LIT and the food is really good. One of my favorite spots to hang out in the Silver Spring area. Best Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The queso fundido with chorizo at Tijuana Mexican Cafe was the best I've ever tasted. It had a unique grainy texture, somewhat similar to ricotta cheese, and was beautifully stretchy. I also tried the bistek, which was incredibly flavorful. I’ll definitely be returning for more than just the margaritas!

I had a fantastic time at Tijuana Mexican Cafe, with outstanding service throughout. Be sure to try their Margarita and Michelada. Tijuana Mexican Cafe offers live music and a DJ, paired with tasty dishes and a wide selection of drinks. However, the service staff sometimes seem to steal the spotlight. I’d like to commend the owner, as I was a regular at the Silver Spring location for Tijuana.

Lit up place with yummy and quality food. Has a big bar with live music and a mini dance floor.Good food,drinks and music. Closes late in the night , so a very good hangout place with friends.

The service was pleasant and the food was generally good, but my barbecue ribs were dry and overdone. Luckily, the waitress was friendly and courteous.
