A visit with family to The Tile Works was certainly an excellent choice From the welcoming smile, the wonderful freshly made food and the excellent service with a smile. This is a must visit We had the chicken burger, siracha chicken, and smoked haddock fishcakes. Everyone was more than happy with the fresh, tasty food and the portion size. Everything tasted moorish and only wished we had room for dessert but was so full A special thanks to Jo, you were welcoming and friendly, just the right level of excellent customer service. Also, thank you to the chef(s), the food has never disappointed. We have visited several times and have never had a bad meal yet You also have 2 new return customers...

We visited on a Sunday and waited for Sunday lunch. We wasn’t allowed to order before 11.45 to start with and then told the chef wouldn’t allow orders till 12. He must have been in a bad mood because of the number of times he was hammering the bell for the staff to take the orders. The situation made us feel stressed which was a shame. The rest of the staff seemed lovely and the food wasn’t too bad either

Went for lunch yesterday as I love their Mediterranean vegetable risotto so went especially to have this, but disappointed to find out menu has changed and it is now an asparagus and broad bean risotto and this was very disappointing in comparison to the original. It was really bland and tasteless. Hope the original one returns when asparagus time is over.
