Living in Sydney doesn 't exactly give you the opportunity to be picky about your selection in coffee spots but I just have to talk about this place. I can 't even tell you how many times I 've been late for work simply because it 's taken me a good 20 minutes to get served whether it 's in the drive-thru or at the counter. They must have at least 15 people at one time working behind the counter at this location but no matter when you go in, 6 am, 10 am, 10 pm.... they 're always extremely disorganized and somewhat confused if you order anything other than a double-double . It was a dark and stormy night, with the streets slick and shadowy. In the distance, I spotted the glowing Tim Hortons sign that promised everything would be "Always Fresh." How wrong that sign turned out to be. As I approached the café, I joined a growing line of equally frustrated customers, all seeking warmth from the biting cold. I ordered a grilled bagel, but they gave me a toasted one, even though I specifically requested grilled. I shrugged it off, understanding that mistakes can happen. When I visited again, I made sure to emphasize that I wanted a grilled bagel this time. The staff confirmed they would put "grilled" into the machine, so I felt confident I’d finally get what I wanted. Unfortunately, I received another toasted bagel. When I approached the counter to ask for it to be grilled instead, the worker rolled their eyes at me. What stood out as particularly concerning was the staff's performance. The international employees seemed unfocused, while the local staff were doing their best to manage the situation and apologize repeatedly. My ongoing concern is with the international staff. It was an international employee who rudely told me that my tea was supposed to taste bad. I've noticed that this location often struggles with young international staff, and I believe that management should consider implementing more comprehensive training for them. It's really frustrating!
This Tim Hortons is one of the busiest locations in Sydney. Most of the staff are either Chinese or Japanese. It's open 24 hours, making it a convenient spot for many. The lighting is quite good, which attracts students who come here to study and hold group discussions. Older folks also see this place as a meeting spot; in the evenings, they gather to enjoy coffee and share some laughs. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to hang out!
I ordered the blackberry quenchers and it did not taste anything close to good and when i went back and informed them at the window and asked them to give me new ones they gave me new ones which tasted worse, very bad service and attitiude, please stop serving it if you cant make them how it should be.
