Everything about this restaurant was a 10 out of 10! We have dined all over the world in many fine restaurants. This is a gem! All of the staff were marvelous from the moment we walked in th door until we left. Our server was so sweet and friendly and knowledgeable. I have celiac and must eat gluten free. She was helpful with the menu and pointed out what I couldn't eat but there were still many items that I could eat. We were celebrating my husband's bday and she acknowledged that right away. We visited this restaurant for our anniversary, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely card signed by all the staff waiting for us, along with a complimentary glass of champagne! The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding; what really stood out was how much they genuinely cared about our experience. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends when it tends to be busy. While there may be open tables, we've been told the wait can be 30 to 40 minutes without a reservation. My husband and I went here for his birthday, the little note from staff was thoughtful. We ordered the tasting menu which was 5 courses. I have a gluten allergy and the chefs did the full tasting menu with adjustments for my allergy. I really appreciated that immensely because it can be tough to find GF food in Flagstaff. Anyone who says the food here is mediocre is full of it. The quality of the ingredients and the obvious care they take in the development of flavor combos/profiles makes it in no way mediocre. We opted for the five-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The first course featured shrimp with an agave twist, followed by crispy braised pork belly for the second course. The third course was steelhead trout, which I initially thought was salmon—truly astonishing! The fourth course was a perfectly cooked filet mignon. To finish, we enjoyed a sticky crumble cake. I have to mention that the portion sizes for the tasting menu were larger than we anticipated, but that’s definitely not a complaint.
