In this little alley, behind a Mexican restaurant, are 2 of the kindest, friendliest, most welcoming ladies that I have ever met...both with big smiles and even bigger hearts. We were soon greeted by the aroma of slow, wood cooked ribs and sausage...the scent which welcomed you to Pork Heaven. I was surprised. The reviews for this place are glowing, yet we had a very different experience. I got a BBQ chicken burrito. It was about 75% yellow rice with 15% chicken (which on its own was pretty good but not great) and the rest was lettuce. It lacked most of the ingredients that burritos generally have — no cilantro and onion, NO BEANS, no cheese, etc. — and as a result it was extremely bland. The tortilla had the texture of cardboard and the rice was dry. My friend got a loaded beef burrito and her girlfriend got some chicken tacos which were similarly bland. Maybe it was an off day, maybe we didn’t have the usual cook, maybe they were out of ingredients, maybe some of the other revie...
This is the first time that I've tried this place but awesome little food truck spot. The ladies that were outside at the food truck were nice friendly knowledgeable and down to earth. I got the three tacos and they even let me mix and match what I wanted on it, and they served me some House made hot sauce to go with it. They also smoke their own food here which adds to the overall experience of taste in the food. I definitely enjoyed my first experience here and will be revisiting when I'm in the area.
This is my favorite place to eat in all of Richmond. An unassuming food stand that just makes the best food. The 3 chimichurri steak tacos comes filled in a box to the brim with sides for a very reasonable price. The burritos are bigger than your head and every bite was a new and exciting taste. Love this place so much, and wish everyone would give it a try

The best hidden spot in shockoe. The owner is so amazing she gave me a cup of soup to stay warm in the cold when I first moved here while waiting for my food. Truly a wonderful soul and amazing food! Try the bbq tacos and rib tips Wheelchair accessibility: Walk into an alley
The food was worth the drive for sure. I enjoyed meeting and talking to Mrs. Tree. Must stop place for sure. She cleaned our table and brought us our food. What an amazing place and woman. Seriously the place is better then any chain restaurant.
Stopped by on my way home last night with my puppy after having a few beers. I got 2 pork tacos that were delicious, but the best part is the nice lady gave my puppy a huge piece of the end of the smoked pork. It made both our nights!
So glad we found this amazing lady and the food she cooks! Everything is homemade. My family and I will absolutely be going back when we are in Richmond!! Food is amazing and the lady that runs it is as well.

This is the best Taco truck in the city. So much more then tacos as well. Everything is made by hand and with love. The sweet lady that runs the truck makes the experience so much better .
