Tivoli Cheltenham

I don't know where to begin. This amazing pub with it's excetional staff and regulars made, what was in many respects a very sad time, a wonderful day. We had booked for Christmas day and had arranged to surprise our son, who lives in Cheltenham,...at the pub. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with an air of excitement when we realised how many people were in on the secret. The free glass of sparkling wine, canapes, starters, main course and pudding could not be faulted. Beautiful food was served and we loved the santa hats provided for every guest. It was very busy but the staff served everyone with smiles and good cheer. Judging by the looks of satifaction on the guests faces it is clear everyone works hard to keep them happy and appreciate their custom. When our son walked in there was a huge cheer and I was overwhelmed by everyone's help to make this happen. It was all filmed for us too. I honestly can't recommend The Tivoli high enough. Well worth a visit we'll be back.

Living in a Cotswold village my wife and I visited Cheltenham to complete our Christmas shopping. Slightly drained we found ourselves entering this hostelry as it looked quite friendly. The atmosphere was really festive and there was a great choice of beers and spirits. The...guy behind the bar (Gary/Gareth really seemed to know his stuff and recommended a great local beer. Although it was busy we never felt rushed but also never felt ignored. We very much enjoyed a reasonably priced couple of rounds and I just wished our own local had such a great approach to customer service!

I loved the atmosphere at the Tivoli which feels more high-end than the average pub.

The Tivoli isn't hidden, but it isn't in the well-worn area of Cheltenham.
