We went for a late dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised by how great the food and service was. We started with guacamole which was fresh and spicy. We had a selection of tacos and carne asada. The food tasted like the lady on the Cholula bottle could have made it, authentic and home made. The rice and beans paired wonderfully, and the steak was absolutely amazing. It was flavorfully seasoned and delicious. The sauce which came with the tacos had an amazing flavor profile unlike anything I have had before. I have never had better Mexican food than at this restaurant. The food is incredible, authentic, and truly delicious. I appreciate that it is a family-owned business, supporting them feels good for the soul. I discovered this gem through my boyfriend, whose parents own the restaurant. But regardless of that, the food (especially the burritos) is outstanding and the service is excellent. The staff have great energy and the chef truly puts her heart into creating top-notch dishes with unique ingredients and her own twist on traditional recipes. This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in New York!
Amazing Mexican place here love to eat in this place. Love the part loves the specials. I had served the mango shrimp with rice and salad it was so delicious I forgot even a picture lol. I also had the Camarones a la diabla , which I also recommend it is very sharp but very tasty. This place has a touch of home. And their service is always pleasant and welcoming. People should really check this place.
My wife and I went to dinner on Saturday, we enjoyed the food and drinks. Me. The reviews it said that this was a family restaurant and they were right the owner was the one that brings you to the table, takes the order and brought the drinks really nice guy. Amazing food, the space is comfortable and welcoming! Perfect for a date night, a family dinner, or a nice evening with friends. The service is just as good. You can tell they enjoy what they do, as they make you feel very welcomed and comfortable in their establishment. Would highly recommend, this is a hidden gem.
