Have been to Toast many, many, many times for lunch. Sandwiches were always really good, stuffed full of fresh ingredients, service was speedy and friendly. But not today. Arrived at nearly 1.30 and had to wait in a lineup over 10 minutes to even get to make an order. As i was in a hurry, I ordered one of the daily specials (already made up in the fridge - Roast Beef Pizza sandwich.) It was not good, dry bread roll, processed cheese, canned black olives and goopy red pizza sauce. Will not be returning. Shame as Toast was my go-to place for a quick lunch whenever I am in Sidney.

After a morning of shopping on a rainy day, we were looking for a place to grab a quick bite that had a nice warm bowl of soup. We tried the Thai soup of the day. It was hot and nicely spicy, with a thick piece of bread to go with it. It was delicious and hearty - just enough of a meal for us. We got in just in time by the look of things because it got really crowded, just after we sat down to eat so I'm glad that we got in when we did. I would definitely come again.

I used to come to Toast very often: always great food and great service. Unfortunately since the change in ownership, I see the quality of service and product has gone downhill. The staff rotates frequently, making the sandwiches thinner (see picture of my grilled cheese) and wait time for food is always 20 minutes. Since my lunch break is only 30 minutes, I am unfortunately very seriously considering somewhere else to buy my lunches.

I hear this has changed ownership recently? It's a shame really as I used to love coming here. The food seems to be almost to the same level it used to be but the service has dropped a few standards. It's mostly young kids there now who don't seem to care that much about customer service. I'm hoping this improves because the Rom's favourite is my favourite sandwich in Sidney and I can't give that up. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a cute little corner with inside tables and a big picnic table outside if you have dogs or if you just want the sun. The coffees are great, service fine, i really enjoy the big salad- really big. Unless you are starved a half size is also available. Nice little place and worth a visit

Awful sandwiches though. The bread is so thick and the fillings so skimpy, the sandwiches are tasteless lumps. The coffee is good and the soups and salads are fine. If you must have a sandwich ask then to cut the bread in half. That way the filling stands a chance

We had an hour before whale watching and needed lunch. This place does a very good selection of sandwiches and salads. Portions are large but the food is very good. There were queues so the locals like it as well seemingly.

The service was quick and the portions were big! Scrambled egg wrap was good, a bit bland. Thick cut toast was great. I'll come back and try more things. Good coffee. Reserva una mesa ahora

and a great place for a bowl of soup, the sandwich of the day and of course they do a great coffee. Be sure and stop in for their casual atmosphere.
