Overall a pleasant experience however I was a little concerned at attitude of chef when I asked if he would mind a little constructive criticism. In amongst the pots of food was a dish of potato bacon and what I think was onion mushy potatoes all black burnt bits of I think was onions I said that I was surprised that this had been put out for people to eat it looked burnt tasted burnt and was a complete detraction from the other food on display. A good Chef would listen and consider removing the burnt offering and replace it with fresh non burnt food. Very impressed, and will come again. High calibre of staff throughout all met were pleasant, welcoming, polite and friendly. Very good value used carvery, and only risk is of taking more than you can eat. Two vegetarians in group, and carvery included vegetarian options. Pleasant environment while we were seeking meal while travelling, other tables had people visiting for an evening out. Had to wait a few minutes before being seated, but once shown to table all was excellent.
we ordered pate , after 5 minutes we were told it would be 20 minutes because it was frozen. We had carvery, nice meat but the cold veg spoiled meal. The dessert was well microwaved, very hot. Serve food hot and unfrozen in a timely manner

Friendly staff. Quick and efficient service. Gods quality food. Staff were wonderful with their he children and made a fuss of them which they loved. Will definitely be going again
We are regular customers and feel that the food quality is not quite as good as was. The staff were not as congenial as usual. We expect the busy bank holiday was a factor.
The food is excellent, well-prepared, and the staff is fantastic. There is ample free parking and good accessibility for disabled individuals. Definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyed the delicious turkey and ham. Good to see families and friends eating out together. Very pleasant efficient waitress. Wilco come again soon.
