An absolute disgrace. Food was dry, some non existant, meat tough, roast potatoes hard and burnt resembled scratchings, Yorkshire pudding flat and gooey, everything only luke warm. Ladies toilets out of order. No draught soft drinks or draught beer, so adults had tap water. Carvery server gave an 8 year old a large plate (child could hardly see over the counter), didn 't think anything of it until charged for an adult meal should have been a 'kids for £1 offer '. Finally spoke to the female manager, told her I was not happy. She fobbed us off with 'removing the meals and only pay for the 2 kids drinks ', unfortunately I had cashed in a Christmas gift card of £20 which could not be returned,...
I went to this restaurant for a carvery and was not impressed. It was quite busy and when we arrived without a reservation, we were just told to find seats. There were not many empty tables, and some that were available were still dirty from previous customers. Additionally, there seemed to be a meeting of regional managers going on, with 4 or 5 people taking up space at 2 large tables meant for 12. The interior of the building had a dirty feel to it. The staff who served us were polite, but the roast beef was mostly gristle and not edible. The vegetables and roast potatoes were the only highlights of the meal.
I went for the carvery deal priced at £6 per person. I arrived at 5:40pm and unfortunately, the carvery had run out of gammon and wouldn't have more until 8:30pm. I had turkey and beef instead. Most of the food had been overcooked from waiting for so long and the potatoes were hard. Some vegetables had run out and the stuffing had completely dried up into a hard crumble. Not a good experience. It may have only been £6, but I wish I hadn't bothered. I had visited this restaurant 5 years ago and it seems like the food quality hasn't improved. I would recommend avoiding this place.
Sorry to say not impressed, Staff are good but plates and cutlery could do with a good wash as very grubby. Cold plates cold food, Food was OK but bacon welded together so must have been out quite a time. Eggs just about cooked but still slimey

Turned up only a few people eating very quiet they asked if had booked we said and they said it's only bookings I asked if I could online now and said the system was done my son was looking farward to eating there never again.
First time of eating at this Carvery. Got to say was nice atmosphere and staff was very attentive. The Grandchildren loved it so will definitely return again and recommend to others.
Ambience very tired in need of update and good clean Food quality deteriated during the years we have been attending Though the staff are very friendly Parking good

Meal was good but as with an adventurous 2 year old it had its moments waitress Amber was brilliant with her and kind to her x
