Let me start this review with our server. She was impeccable. Loved her energy she was ontop of everything too. Probably the best part of this experience. When we left we were set on a 3 star rating.Minor complaints i asked for no mushrooms. (Not because I dont like mushrooms) im alergic. There was no attempt at making this dish without mushrooms. And I was not told that they couldn 't remove the mushrooms from the vegies or I would have ordered something else. That aside if they ask you for sauce say yes or you get everything plain. For some reason we didn 't get knives. Its not the end of the world but it doesn 't help with table etiquette when you gotta shove 2 bites worth of steak in you...
When Tokyo opened the first time, it immediately became one of our favorite restaurants. In Danville, for me, only for me it is not everywhere where I really like to go or that my whole family is going. Tokyo became the way there, then it somehow went down hills. I was very discouraged, but because it's my favorite, I kept trying. The last few times I've eaten there have recovered my faith. The food was delicious again and for me the service is always great. Last night, Madison was great. She was patient with me and my great order and offered extra sauce and she had a helper Holly who was also amazing. I was very happy. The sashimi slices are thick and flavorful, and the sushi rolls are delicious. The entire meal was amazing, though it was on the pricier side. I plan on returning soon and frequently. On a recent visit for my birthday, everything we tried was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Tokyo Grill offers half-priced sushi on Sundays that never fails to impress. My friend and I have been dining there for four consecutive Sundays now, and it has become a regular tradition for us.

Everything at this restaurant is outstanding, including the staff! The half-price sushi on Sundays is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place.
Great place and sushi is half price on Sunday! The Hibachi Chicken Shrimps and Steak Bowls are also great.
