We stopped to have breakfast on our way through town. The server was not very friendly. She did not take the order correctly. When we asked for hashbrowns..she said we could upgrade from the other potatoes to hashbrowns. When we got the bill, the upgrade charge was $2.99 each. Seriously!!!???? That's ridiculous... The upgrade cost was 25% of the meal cost. If we had known the cost, we would have stuck with the standard menu....hashbrowns are not worth that much of an upgrade cost. Something has changed here....we have stopped here a number of other times for breakfast and we have never been charged $2.99 for hashbrowns....Breakfast for 2 people was $40...they priced themselves out of my comf...
Husb had chorizo burrito, good size, a bit greasy. I had a basic chix salad sandwich on thin sour dough bread, nothing fancy. I would have liked more chicken salad on bread, there was not much on sandwich at all, slice of thin tomato and lettuce slice. It had a nice flavor served with fries and a slice of pickle. Pricy place for the basics. We just drank water too because drink prices were high! Service was great, waitress nice. Food was overall tasty and fresh.?
Absolutely incredible experience here. The staff was incredibly kind, service was great, our server had a wonderful personality and accommodated all our dietary restrictions. This is an incredibly adorable family owned diner that is very clean, super cute, and has great food for a great price! Would definitely come here again!
Love finding small family-owned restaurants in the towns I travel through. Big bonus when it's evident that they've spent some time sourcing their ingredients. It's tasty, peaceful, relaxing, and quite friendly. I'll keep stopping in whenever I pass through Holbrook!

Looking at the diner from the road, We almost didn't stop because we didn't think they were open. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our food was very good. Fresh and homemade. Will visit again when in the area.
Nice little Route 66 Diner The catfish hush puppies were really good! Service was excellent!
