Tong Thai Dee is located above the street from Wollishofen Train Station and is accessible by S-Bahn (S8 or S24) or Tram #7. The menu is available for the whole week with selection of curry dishes along with daily specialties with beef,... chicken, seafood and vegetables price of CHF 14.50-16.50 for din in or taking. Upon arrival, the host/owner folded aprons and personal shirts on the largest dining table. There are also two other tables that can accommodate four people, a high standing table inside and two outside. Simple decorations on the wall, but the shop window is full of Thai inspired ornaments. this small Thai take-away restaurant offers different menus for fair trips. taste if you like this. the various curry dishes are varied throughout the week. the portions are decently large, therefore also a good price/performance ratio.Every afternoon is also always a vegetarian menu.Even though the meat is sometimes of 3rd quality (boiled, tough,) whether bark or poulet. only the fish (panned pangasius) seems to be of somewhat better quality. it has a few places available. the window is always decorated with beautiful orchids. the family business seems to run the load with much love. everything in all it's okay. one visit can be risked.

Together with my Thai wife, we have lived almost one year in Zurich. Although this place doesn't presently rank high on TripAdvisor, of the 5 or so Thai restaurants we together have tried in Zurich, this is our favorite. They always have at least one vegetarian dish and we both have enjoyed the food and the service every time we have been. In addition, it is right next to the Bahnhof Wollishofen tram stop and is super convenient to get a quick and good bite.

great, plentiful portion, fine meat, good sauce, overall a very good offer for 12 chf (after 15 o'clock) - cannot complain. clear, in international comparison, this is still expensive, but we are in Switzerland, and for that it is really an absolutely fair price/performance ratio. I'll be back!

the tong thai dee not only offers super eating, but also the special experience at each visit. the personal is always friendly and striving. the portions are very large, to humane trips. the foods are always fresh and the various curry dishes are a dense. again and again worth a visit!
