we have just returned from an excellent meal in the restaurant in caerwylan hotel. we booked it on the basis of tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. our eating was absolutely first advice. we would recommend the mango Prawn court and the terrine. as start the fish and the lamb main courses and the panna cotta as dessert; we would be very surprised if the other courts in the offer were not equally good. service was also very good. all employees were pleasant and efficient. we had coffee in the lounge with a fantastic view of the sea. it was our first day in criccieth so we can't compare it with other restaurants in the city, but it was a great start to our short high season in wales...

This was a lovely find for us in criccieth....we ate dinner here on Monday. We started with prawns on spicy couscous and duck pate. We then had lamb and pork followed by the cheese board. Excellent food...so well presented and succulent. Service was also very...attentive and we really enjoyed our evening, will definitely be back.

wow, wow, wore the best meal we had here in the last 15 years! we never had a bad meal or experience. laura is amazing and a great hostess, funny, attentive and make sure everything is right. so take care and an excellent couple that make the best of this hotel and location.

we had a nice meal this evening in the restaurant tonneau. the staff was great, eating was great. we really liked it.
