I was really looking forward to this place especially after the positive reviews. Customer service was good, fries were tasty but the cheesesteak was not good. Maybe I just caught them at a bad time but it was extremely dry and tasteless. I couldn't even finish it and neither could my coworker. I really wanted to like this place and have a spot for a solid cheesesteak but it tasted on par with mall food.
The pizza here is fantastic, but we had a concerning experience with a Philly steak a few years ago when we found metal pieces in it. I'm hoping they've resolved any issues with the cleaning products used on the grills. We've only ordered pizza since then, but last night we discovered a long, melted hair in the cheese on our pizza. After these experiences, I think we’ll be looking for other options.
I had the pleasure of trying the plant-based Philly cheesesteak (Phat Tony), and it was absolutely delicious! It was refreshing to see such a diverse staff. My experience as a customer was exceptional; the personnel were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, and they diligently wiped down the tables both indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend this place!
Tono’s is hands-down my favorite new restaurant. I’ve been countless times over the past 2 (3 years in Maplewood. I’ve eaten my way through the cheesesteak menu, had several of the pizzas. I had to post today though because the pizza of the month, the Phat Pie, is outstanding. Min, great job!!! Please add that to the menu. ? Reserva una mesa ahora
Good food! Haven’t had a bad meal here. Good flavors and always fresh tasting. The Special pizza (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, banana peppers) and truffle fries are the best.Don’t bother buying the fountain drink here if you’re getting it to go. $2 and it’s the size of kid’s cup. I thought she handed me a water cup. ?
I got the margarita pizza with tomatoes and the hazelnut dessert pizza. Both were so good! Only thing I would improve is the pizza was cut really weird. I had like 4 pieces on 1/2 and the other half wasn’t cut. Doesn’t change the taste though!
I had a delicious pizza at Tono's. The ingredients were of high quality, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Their menu is quite generous, while not being overwhelming. I'd recommend a visit.
Incredible! The only drawback is having to choose between the Philly cheesesteak and the pizza, both of which are outstanding. I usually bring a friend so we can share and enjoy both choices. Reserva una mesa ahora
The cheesecake sandwich was amazing, and the fries are some of the best I've ever tasted. The spices and sauces are delicious too!
