Nothing negative in this whole evening. Our server was amazing-the best we've had in a very long time. He remembered every single thing we said to him and acted on a couple of comments.Sorry I didn't get his name- he was mature and possibly of East Indian descent.Kudos! There are lots of choices both in food and beverage. Draft to start - one domestic Belgian Moon which is a wheat beer and had a slightly floral taste and one imported Heineken. Our server offered me a size that wasn't even listed!! I love the mini loaf of warm bread and whipped garlic butter. The calamari appetizer was crisp and tender. It is served with seafood sauce and lemon garlic aioli which was a bit bland- I prefer tzatziki. The Birthday club allows a free meal up to $19. Ribs no longer fall within that limit so I decided to try the Asian Salad with grilled chicken and topped with fried won ton noodles. It was delicious with lovely flavours in the Thai chili sauce and cilantro.Hubby liked his 1/2 rack of smoked ribs with slaw and baked beans. They are literally finger lickin' good but getting a little pricey. The room has a warm comfy feeling enjoyed all the more because of the sheets of rain outside followed by the heaviest hail I've ever seen. The service, atmosphere and free dinner made for a great birthday celebration.
