Waited forever just to get our drinks when we finally got our food 45 minutes later we didn 't mind too much it was a family dinner most came from out of town different states that we don 't get to see or talk to on a daily basis the fried green tomatoes were on point but all other food was barely room temperature not hot by no means at least 4-6 plates out of many was sent back all should have been but didn 't want to be rude fish Greasy/rubbery tarter sauce tasted like it was from a bottle n very old I took a bite yuke my stomach started hurting otw home from what I ate here hush puppies over cooked chicken over cooked schnitzel anything fried was over cooked red cabbage very chewy peices...

So my wife and I recently visited. It was our 40th anniversary. The restaurant seems fine. But it we weren't impressed right off, seeing the owner smoking a cigarette just as we were walking in. Not a great professional look. We ordered I got the blue cheese jalapeno burger. It was tasty as always, but I had to remove most of the lettuce because it was bad. It was turning brown. One would think at the price you pay for a single burger and fries, you would expect a beautiful burger without dying lettuce. It's the best ever. A restaurant I visited by chance! It was a restaurant like a hidden treasure. The steak is reasonably priced and delicious. Please be kind. We had the fish and chips with the soup of the day. The fish n chips were some of the best we've had, in future any comparisons will be done towards this.
