I finally visited Tony's which ironically is located right next door to my fitness studio Sk1ll. I've maintained a high level of self control the past few months avoiding this place. Yesterday I ordered 2 pepperoni slices for my daughter and garlic knots. As a native New Yorker, I know good pizza. When I heard that the slices are huge, I didn't expect them to be humongous! These are notorious B.I.G huge ! We enjoyed the slices and I look forward to ordering a fresh pie next time so that I can taste the difference. The slices were just reheated. The only thing I did not enjoy was the garlic knots. They had no garlic on them at all. Disappointing. Service here was excellent. There was a adorab...
The pizza shop is situated just behind the Carmax on Glenwood Avenue. The pizza is tasty when served warm, or you can reheat it for better flavor. I ordered a simple medium cheese pizza, which was a typical NY style with a foldable crust and a slightly oily texture. It is a family-owned shop and is much better than the square box franchise pizza or the thin crust pizza served at Randy's Pizza. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu besides the pizza.
I have never tried the pizza at this restaurant, but I always go for the sandwiches. The quality of the food and customer service has always been excellent during my one year of frequenting this place. I come here three times a week and the staff recognize me now, knowing my order before I even say it.
The absolute best New York style pizza in the triangle! Fast and accommodating service. This is my go-to place for pizza and comfort home style Italian food! Bravo!

Great pizza if you like New York Style. Great lunch special. And super quick if you are in a hurry. Go by and have a slice you won't be disappointed.
We love Tony's pizza, salad and strombolis!! It's delicious, consistent and we always have good service when we pick up our order. Highly recommend.
The pizza is always great. It is a little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Side note, the best garlic knots I've ever had.
