"I heard so many good things about Riley's and they did not disappoint! From the second we walked in we were greeted by two friendly employees at the register. The hot dogs my wife and I got were amazing! The toppings are so delicious and the hot dog itself was cooked perfectly. Also, the fries are hand cut and perfectly cooked. First time experiencing this eclectic gem in New Britain Ct. Not your typical hot dog stand have some amazing hot dog combos as well as burgers !! Some outside parameters stuff like sausage and peppers and chicken but is mostly known for hot dogs and burgers. Place is not very large a large counter top length of building with chairs and a few high tops . Pretty cool looking place reminds me of the outside of Lou's lunch in New Haven CT. Parking is minimal as it borders other businesses and is a pay lot on certain portions but free in others based on space availability you may or may not have to pay. My wife and I went back to Riley 's for a Friday lunch and wow, I was reminded of how amazing their menu is and how delicious the food is. Once I saw house-made blue cheese spread on the Buffalo Blue Scooby-Doo hot dog I knew for sure what I was ordering. Topped with warmed housemade blue cheese spread, buffalo sauce, chopped onions, potato sticks, bread crumbs, broiled to make it toasty and finished with cool chopped celery. It was SO GOOD. And let me urge Riley 's to make more things with that blue cheese spread. I see that they have a burger similar to the dog and that 's what I 'm ordering next time. Popped by this evening (just about 25 mins before closing) because a $3.50 hotdog honestly sounded perfect. I came in and ordered at the register and about 5 minutes later I was on my way. I was on the phone so I also hung out outside but a gentlemen (who I believe might have been the owner) came out and met me with my food.. I really inhaled my food... (little hungry today ngl)... and it was great. GRILLED bun... then hotdog was toasty had some flavor (not like those cheap franks). Topped it off with ketchup and relish.. yum! I'd be back absolutely! Also establishment seemed clean and up to date and I appreciate that in a place!! Thank you!
Riley's Dirty Mac Dog Is A Must Order- Topped With Mac Cheese, Onions, Meat Sauce, And... Wait For It.. Corn Chips!!! My Eyes, Taste Buds, Stomach All Fell In Love Before The First Bite! The Buffalo Ranch Fresh Cut Fries Are The Perfect Side Order To Any Dog Or Burger! But Definitely Don't Leave Out The Baked Beans Coleslaw! And Last But Not Least- Save Room For Riley's Salty Balls!!!! Trust Me, They Taste As Good As They Sound!!
