On a Saturday morning, my friend and I decided to check out this café, but it was full! We were lucky to get a table outside, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. The firewood heating at the entrance added a cosy touch. The outdoor seating was also excellent, with overhead heaters keeping us warm even in the open air. From the moment I arrive and wait to be seated, the staff is always welcoming, and the service throughout my visit is consistently friendly. Top Paddock stands out as one of the best cafes in Melbourne and holds a special place in my list of top favorites. It's always lively, with people dining both indoors and outdoors. The coffee was great and the menu offered a wide variety of options. Our favorite dish was the braised lamb shoulder, which was absolutely delightful, and the pink dragon fruit and mango smoothie was incredibly refreshing. However, we did notice an area for improvement: while the waiter was extremely friendly, the kitchen service was quite slow during our visit. We experienced a lengthy wait for our drinks and food, even though the restaurant wasn't at full capacity. Location : Located in such a busy street. Parking was really hard to find on a weekend. Place: Such a nice cosy place to catch up with friends though It was really busy and very loud. You really have to speak up. Service: The service was great. We were attended to really fast and we didn’t wait for long for the food. Food: Great flavours and very tasty. Good portion ! I couldn’t walk by the end of it. Price is decent Recommend: I would recommend to try this place out. It may not be for everyone. Some people like more of a quiet place but this one can be crowded. This lively café has a lively atmosphere that's almost chaotic, but they consistently deliver top-notch food and drinks. There's no doubt about it—everything was prepared flawlessly and had distinct flavors that truly set it apart from other places. My only issue was the busy environment; it required a bit of effort to describe each dish I had and to navigate my way to the cashier to settle the bill. It can get quite crowded, but we walked in at 11 and had no trouble finding a table for two. I will definitely return!

We went here on a weekend for lunch and it was packed full of diners. Despite that, the friendly staff was able to find us a table after waiting for a bit so kudos to great service! It was worth the wait. We enjoyed the food (pork belly and hotcakes) and not to mention the coffee which was so good. Definitely a great place to have brunch or just have coffee. Highly recommended!

Had the paddock breakfast and oat milk flat white. The meal has proper portion and the sauce is really nice that goes well with the sausage. The overall dining experience was great, staff are friendly. Keen to know what is the brand of hand sanitiser placed at front of the stores, it smells so good the aroma lingered the rest of the day!

Super grateful to live only a 10 minute walk from this gem in the city. Coffee is excellent and the food is exceptional. The dining room is large and creative with lots of spaces and options depending on your mood. Always a great vibe. I should have done this ages ago, hey. This place is a banger. I’ve had quite a few chilli scrambled eggs on toast before, but pork the sausage and quality of the Turkish bread made it. I know this place is popular, but it’s one of those ones that deserves to be, you know?

Finally made it here from South Yarra! Just a quick stroll over the Yarra to eat at this deceptively large cafe, restaurant. It was busy! But they squeezed us on the bar which was fun to watch the baristas working their magic
