Older waiter/manager rude and unwelcoming. Some of the other waiting staff stressy and abrupt. Didn't feel relaxed with the way they carried on. The female waiting staff were much better than the male waiting staff. Some of the food, including mine was good, some of the other guests food not well-presented and not that good. My partner had venison. Not a good flavour and tough. I expect all meals to be a great standard in a restaurant. That's your business and with something like this should be a passion. I thought restaurants like this had disappeared. A classic family run authentic Italian restaurant with great decor, ambience, staff of course food. This was our first visit we were stunned to see the restaurant full, except for the table reserved for us, whilst it was only 6pm on a Saturday evening. It was a friendly welcome at the door, then shown to our table where drinks orders were taken the ‘specials of the day’ were described to us. There was no rush to serve up the various courses we were asked if we were ready before the course was served. We chose to have our company Christmas dinner at our beloved Toscanas, and we were not let down. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We started with a delicious cheesy, meaty mushroom covered in tomato sauce for our traditional Christmas meal - it couldn't have been better. The dishes were full of flavor, expertly cooked, and there was plenty of food. The waitstaff were kind and attentive, and the restaurant was bustling with diners enjoying their meals in a charming atmosphere. All in all, it was a delightful evening with friends at a traditional Italian restaurant. Thank you.
My wife and I visited this charming restaurant for the first time on a Saturday evening. Our daughter recently moved into the area, so we will definitely return when we are back in town. We have already recommended it to her student friends and families. It is a rare find these days to come across a true family-owned Italian restaurant with homemade food. It is no surprise that it is so popular and often fully booked. Everything was perfect, and we are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

First time and will definitely be returning had a table for 6 pm on Sunday evening it was packed , a good sign.staff are very attentive .had the meatballs to start excellent ! followed by stuffed chicken in a mushroom sauce . The menu is extensive with a varied selection of meat ,fish and pasta dishes and a good wine list try it you won't be disappointed
I’ve heard such good reviews from friends and family about this restaurant. Tonight I tried it out with my friends. Food was amazing, such great portions and delicious. Highly recommend. The deserts were also good. Service was also great. Will definitely return and can’t wait to try other dishes on the menu. Thank you.
This is a fabulous restaurant for a really authentic Italian experience. Food quality is fantastic and portions are very generous! We went as a family of 5 and everyone was equally very impressed. This was our first visit and we will absolutely be back very soon! Thank you so much!
Second visit this year and yet again Toscana was excellent. The restaurant has a real family feel and has a great warmth to it. Nice selection of cocktails and some brilliant specials on offer. The garlic bread with mozzarella to start is a must!
