"First time here. Attentive and professional, if not friendly service. High-quality food. All members of our party really enjoyed what we ordered. Very comfortable room with adequate space between tables. As good as anything in the North End without the crowds and parking problems. Definitely coming back."

We showed up to the restaurant without having a reservation but were greeted by the host kindly. We stood outside for about 15 minutes before they were open but they let us in early. Most of us got the restaurant week menu and it's a very good deal. The bread was good and idk what that balsamic vinegar and olive oil was but it's soooo good. I got the smoked salmon: it was good and the olive was interesting but quite salty as the olives are. Rigatoni truffle was pretty good , not too heavy. You get a good whiff of the truffle. Pana cotta was yummy but I was too full! We had a great time. The service was attentive and the place look really nice and classy. Great vibes to catch up with old frie...

I am not exaggerating when I say that the gnocchi was one of my favorite Italian dishes I have ever had, including those I had in Italy. Handmade and perfectly pillowy and light, with a perfect tomato sauce and mozzarella. Everyone in my party ordered it and we were all equally impressed. The cocktails are also fantastic, with a few different classic Negronis catching our eye. The grilled calamari appetizer is not to be missed. I love the dark cozy ambiance. One of my top spots in Beacon Hill for sure, and I'll be back for that gnocchi!

I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the pasta dishes like pomodoro and bianco bolognese, as well as the caprese salad and minestrone soup. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Our server was fantastic, although the host was a bit snobby. When we arrived and asked to sit at a table near the window or booth, he refused even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Despite this minor inconvenience, I won't let it ruin my overall experience at this great restaurant.

When I stopped one evening to get a soup for the take-out, the demeanor and the behavior of the owner was unacceptable. I tried to order two soups he said would take 45 minutes after he grabbed the menu from my hand, he said he didn't need the business. I live in Beacon Hill and am a regular customer! Why would a restaurant be justified in the humiliation of its regular guests?
