Later we wished we had mentioned that at the time. Our main course was very enjoyable and no grit this time. A few months ago, I reached out to Toulouse to inquire about using their private function room for a gathering of 18 friends. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible with our menu options. We were able to choose 4 starters, 4 mains, and 4 desserts for the night, without the need for pre-ordering. The service was top-notch from beginning to end, with the food being delivered hot, beautifully presented, and delicious. A group of six of us, on entering this weedy little man was extremely rude. Not only was he rude, and unwelcoming, he made it clear he didn't want our custom. We wanted to sit away from the door and he found it hard to give us a seat in the corner. Eventually he loudly pushed tables together. We joked how rude he was and I asked him who was the manager, he said he was. Couldn't believe the manager or an owner could behave so unwelcoming. We walked out and went to another restaurant where we spent nearly £200. His loss. Never experienced such treatment before. Booked for my mum’s 75 birthday meal, when we turned up we had the audacity to ask for a round table if available, was told it wasn’t which was not a problem, the waiter then rudely informed us that we would basically have what we were given table wise, he then informed us that we were to either enjoy ourselves our basically leave which left us no option, this vile excuse of a man who we found out was the manager and owner had absolutely no problem in arguing in front of customers and staff, I’ve read many previous reviews which also point out this rude and unacceptable behaviour and I would avoid this place for as long as this embarrassment of a owner remains at the helm

Totally unexpected, a birthday with family . We were taken by a family member to Toulouse,a roadside restaurant, which was at first , an odd choice. Not a huge menu but certainly they made the most of it. I had monkfish with a beautiful red sauce with turned out to be roasted red pepper . Beautiful. A busy place , and a tad noisy, but it had a great holiday vibe , full of happy people. Thank you guys, they worked so hard , and pulled it off. Not fine dining but a happy place.
I booked this restaurant based on the seafood platter I had seen on previous reviews. From the outside this restaurant looks like a mediocre ice cream parlour! However, inside we were welcomed by friendly staff and there was a lovely atmosphere. The food tasted amazing! The fish was fresh and the service was fantastic. The waitresses were attentive without it being too much. A lovely evening! The seafood platter was stunning!
I enjoyed a wonderful early dinner before heading to the Cliffs Pavilion for a show. The restaurant has a great location with views of the estuary. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The only downside was the background music, which was a bit tinny and unnecessary. Still, I would definitely consider coming back.
Spent a delicious meal for dinner on a Thursday evening. Wasn’t busy and waiters were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was presented beautifully and the steak was good, especially the mushroom tomatoes sauce that came with it,,,,truly satisfying. Lots of street parking outside it which was a bonus. Toilets were nice and clean also.

My sister, our three dogs, and I were warmly welcomed at this restaurant. We had a truly delightful meal, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to others.
My food was excellent and had the early bird what great value l had liver and bacon superb and delicious dessert service was excellent too
