We 've travelled around western, central and eastern Europe for the past 3 months, and this tremendous restaurant has topped it off. It 's not just the food (which is exceptional by the way), it 's also the relaxed atmosphere that 's enhanced by the friendly and enthusiastic greeting, and food/wine presentation of Arnaud. My better half had just a main, while I splurged on the 30 euro menu. Neither of us regretted our choices. The wine, which we were allowed to select from a tasting first, perfectly complemented our meals, as did the additional glass to accompany the cheese plate. The cost was outrageously low. We had dinner (two adults, two children). The service and the food were okay, not extraordinary. The decoration (dark, very nineties) was not to our taste. There is something strange/inconsistent about the many very high reviews on trip advisor; this restaurant did not meet our expectations. Two serious points of criticism: (1) the depressed goldfish in a vase on EVERY table was very off putting it seemed like we couldn't escape looking at a cruel joke played on defenceless animals; (2) the bread was completely dry and stale. Although the service was friendly, we won't be returning to this restaurant.

It's very nicely presented. It smells good. It's okay. Perfect kitchen. taste and colors in the plate. delicious douro wine and dessert to fall! It should also be noted that the toilets are clean and beautifully decorated. here, we loved everything and will come back. I'm sure.
