While the staff was friendly, I was a bit disappointed they didn’t mention that fried rice was an extra $3 per person—it was offered as if it were included. We had to wait over an hour for our food. They don’t cook in front of you anymore due to COVID, which is understandable, but we were left waiting for the soup, and my son had to ask for our salads. When my food finally arrived, it was cold, and I ended up getting my dish last out of a party of seven. After we paid, we realized that all our food was still cold. When I mentioned it to the staff, he said I should have told him sooner, as he could have reheated it. Reheating shrimp? I don’t think so! I spent way too much money for this experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I certainly won't be returning.
Absolutely, there's usually a bit of a wait, but the staff is fantastic and the cooks do an amazing job! The food is made fresh to order, piping hot, and incredibly delicious! I enjoy bringing friends and family here when they visit. It's far superior to chain restaurants like Benihana. Who needs those when you have this gem? We truly appreciate this place and can't thank you enough!
It's reminiscent of Cheers for those of you who remember the classic! Every time you visit, you'll feel like they genuinely missed you. The food is outstanding, the beer is chilled to perfection, and the service is the best in Lakewood. Don’t forget to tip your chef; they put in a lot of effort to deliver a great meal for you!

I didn’t expect any flashy knife tricks, but the chef mostly just lit the grill and tossed out a few jokes. When he poured the soy sauce, he made a funny comment about it, but overall, the experience felt a little disappointing.
This has been my favorite Japanese restaurant for nearly 20 years. Their sushi is always incredibly fresh, and their teppanyaki is just as good, if not better, than Benihana.
The address listed is wrong and directs you to a BevMo. I have no clue where this restaurant is located or if it even exists.
The best sushi in town! Jose is incredible! I haven't had sushi anywhere else since discovering this place 8-9 months ago.
