Whilst walking from Rütli up to Seelisberg then back down again to Bauen we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this absolute gem for lunch. Whilst the menu was not extensive, it seemed to cover most bases, soup, salads, pasta of the day and a number of tempting options à la carte more on offer in the evening. The staff was super friendly, the food delicious, and the setting, whilst the stunning lake is not in view, looking up at the magnificent peaks surrounding this magical place doesn’t leave one feeling sold short. 2 large dishes, 1 bottle of wine, 1 dessert 2 coffees 111chf. Lovely relaxed setting with fabulous views from the terrace. Friendly staff. Great tasty food. Spotlessly clean. Mixture of families and couples. Menu for children as well. Great able to make reservations online. Well worth driving to the amazing viewpoint just down the road.
We randomly came across this restaurant and were very surprised how well equipped the restaurant was for children. On top of that, service (Conny was just beyond excellent and the food was incredibly delicious!! 5 stars out of 5 for everything. We will definitely be back. :
