Trapper's Sushi Co. Puyallup

Our waitress was great but the fact that our sushi rice was not cooked right and was mush on the outside and hard as a rock inside was gross. I let them know and it was so bad the manager checked and had to throw out every pot. I got another roll after already losing my appetite and immediately it tasted bad and the fish smell was very strong. Fresh fish doesn't have a strong smell. So I got a roll with mushed hard rice and took one bite of my other roll before setting it down for $36.95 and my son got an all you can eat too with bad rice. We paid to get bad food even though our server was nice. I get it's not her fault and the manager should have at least apologized but almost $80 we feel sick and barely ate. I won't be back ever again. Trappers has forever lost my business and got my last $80 I'll ever spend there.

I got a couple hand rolls and they were literally just salmon and rice. Plain and not good. The waitress left them and vanished. Weird country music playing loudly was…interesting. Think Dave and busters sushi without games, or anything entertaining. UPDATE: my coworker, who was accompanying me has been puking and on the toilet all night (and is missing work… I think it’s safe to say “don’t come to this restaurant” is the advice I will be giving in the future to anyone who asks SECOND UPDATE: I was given a bogus email to discuss the issue, just adding more fuel to the fire, or DUMPSTER FIRE I should say.

Myself and 3 others (one small child) enjoyed multiple delicious rolls with a variety of different fish, toppings, and some delicious Elysian beer. We each were able to enjoy the 3 rolls for $30 deal and enjoyed the plentiful amount of choices for this special! When asked, we received plenty of wasabi and ginger Cheater-chopsticks for the kid were helpful, as well as the crayons to fill the short wait for our food. Terrific time at Trappers!

I'm only giving 2 stars because I used to love this place. Just received my order from uber eats. The fish was pathetically small. We ordered 7 rolls and we received approximately 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and no chop sticks. This is the third time. I won't be back. It's a shame I used to bring my daughters here weekly.

I did the all you can eat with 2 glasses of wine and the food service was great! I jaf the Miles, Thrill Trump rolls. I also had tempera veggies they included the asparagus for me
