Trattoria Abruzzi

I have been in this restaurant attracted by the Abruzzi name. Of course I am coming from this italian region (Abruzzo and not Abruzzi that is an old wording not anymore in use) then I was curious to verify if the owner was from my same region but as I did guess it was a clear mistake. The restaurant itself is clean and cool as well as very cold . The atmosphere was not italian at all. I did explore in detail the Menu provided and I did not find any kind of food proposed that is typical from my region, then I decided to order a starter and a Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi . While the starter was acceptable the Pizza was terrible. It was prepared at the american way: fully covered of cheese, then eavy like the lead! Of course nothing to deal with any italian Pizza. To me Pizza is the testing food as it is easy to be prepared so if you are not able to prepare a decent Pizza how can you prepare any kind of italian more complex dish such as Pasta? Poor food quality while far too expensive! Conclusion: find another place if you really wish to eat italian food.

We went for a family lunch and ordered the daily menu. The food came late, it was no more than eatable, and to make matters worse, one of the pizzas came cold and a lasagne came burnt. The reason for such a bad review, however, was the service. When we told the host that the pizza was cold and the lasagne burnt, he denied it and was very rude. He took the lasagne and changed the burnt cheese on top by an almost uncooked version.

We have organized a diner with more than 20 people... we were dropped out at 20h20 because the table was not ready yet (booking 4 days earlier for 20h30)... starters were an average quality... pasta was awful for most of us (too much boiled, and sauces were not tasty)... desserts average... service was not really kind. Maybe this restaurant doesn't need to work, that could explain that they don't care the clients.

Todo el personal es encantador. Acogida súper amable, servicio rápido y atentos a todos los detalles. Comida buenísima y abundante. Totalmente recomendable.

Restaurante MUY acogedor!!! Recomiendo encarecidísimamente el Osobuco con arroz o la carbonara tradicional!
