I immediately noticed that the staff changed. there is a new head of reception (luca), which was very friendly and helpful. although we had not reserved, he immediately found a table for us without having to wait a long time. for dinner luca has recommended us a mixed grill meat with taste of smoked crumbs. although the restaurant was full we waited about 15 minutes. Together with my wife, I visited the local during the last week.We had a table in advance, which worked smoothly.The waiter was extremely friendly and his recommendations met our tastes during both wein and eating.We had a menu with Langustino variations. all the courses would be well prepared, tasty matched and cooked to the point. the pastasauce was absolute top-class and definitiw self-made.In particular, I noticed that - although my wife demanded a glass of wine - a bottle was opened for them. we wanted to spend a romantic evening as a couple. Unfortunately, this was not possible because we got a table to two between 4 tables where about 4-8 people were sitting. twoness equal to zero. the service was bad...we were initially asked by two cellars after an aperitif request, which was finally there after about 20 min. all night, no more waiter has been seen with us, except to bring the food. we had the feeling that was more important with Italians next to us. After we finished eating, we almost had to beg for the bill. unfortunately no nice evening and our bill we have finally paid at the bank at the tresen.
on the occasion of a birthday dinner we booked a table for 6 people. the ambiente likes and is harmonious . the service was very attentive and friendly throughout the stay. eating (different pasta dishes and a ochsenbacke) were sufficiently portioned and consistently delicious, although nothing special. we felt the mixed starter plate. we know much better variants. the desserts were in the framework of expectations. overall, it was a successful visit, which we will definitely repeat. had reserved a table for 6 people due to the reviews listed here and were not satisfied. the food did not correspond to expectations (yet really hard, meat was mostly made of fat and pizzas rather sparingly occupied). the service there is however friendly and always striving. Sure there are worse restaurants, but we will not come back.
